From time to time we receive enquiries about matters relating directly or indirectly to GTWF. We hope the information below is of some assistance to you.
Q. Why don't you concentrate on charitable work in the UK or Isle of Man?
A. Manifold reasons. Firstly though, the needs of children in India are not being met in the same way as they are in the West, where higher living standards and a robust welfare state provide a safety mat for vulnerable persons in society.
Q. Doesn't India have its own Social Services and state health service?
A. Yes it does. However the standard of care and services available is greatly reduced. The provision of care at the point of need is also, in practice, way short of what we can provide through your support.
