Peel Curry Night

As is the case with our quiz nights, our curry evenings have become somewhat of a tradition in recent years. What began as a home-cook curry event at a local church hall has developed into a regular fixture at a number of Indian restaurants around the Isle of Man.

Following a successful night at the Saffron in Castletown, we decided to try a similar thing in GTWF's hometown of Peel. We had our second curry night last year at the new Royal India in Atholl Place.

Basically the proprietor most generously agreed once again to dedicate a proportion of his evening's takings to go to the Grace Third World Fund. Following the event a number of GTWF trustees and Royal India staff appeared in the Manx press wielding a giant cheque whilst wearing traditional Indian costume!

This year's curry night (Sep 2008)

This year we are set to return to the Royal India again and have even secured their services for 2 nights running.

  • Mon 22 September - Tue 23 September 2008. Contact the Royal India direct on the details below.
  • Royal India Restaurant is situated in Atholl Place, Peel, Isle of Man opposite the Toy Box shop
  • After last year's sell-out sittings, early bookings are recommended
